Ironstone Everywhere

I am so hooked ... on white ironstone. I'm quite sure you all are to blame!  Although I would like to eventually have every piece be the real thing, I am happy now just mixing in some new pieces until I find more authentic ones.  I do love the way it contrasts with the dark wood.  These are photos from my dining room.

These little guys are old washing machine feet...
how cute are they!

I will be linking this with Kathleen at Faded Charm Cottage for White Wednesday...be sure to stop over

Thank you for stopping by

I just love ironstone, and it's fine to mix them, they look beautiful displayed in the darker cabinet!

Oh, you are a girl after my heart! I just starting hoarding ironstone and I just love it. I think the best way to display it against dark wood like that. I love the dark wood. My hubby likes the lighter oak colors. We always tussle over it and I usually win. Your ironstone is just beautiful and how freaking cute and ingenious are those washing machine feet?! I love love love that! Now I am on the hunt for some washing machine feet! Hope no one blames their wonkity washing machines on me cause I will deny any and all missdoings! Thanks so much for stopping by! Love your blog and will be back!

Your display is lovely, the contrast between the white and dark wood sets it off nicely.
