My First Giveaway

As you know, this whole blogging thing is still new to me and I am trying to learn all the ins and outs of it. I feel like I've been living under a rock for the past couple of years. I had no idea there were so many creative souls out there, and all with such beautiful blogs! One of my favorites is Faded Charm Cottage  Last week I joined up with their White Wednesday Party and right away I started getting comments back from some very kind bloggers. I even had one follow me...thank you Frenchy! I love all of the parties and giveaways that I have seen and thought I would host a little one of my own to hopefully make some new blog buddies.

I am giving away a lovely antique decorated book, and one of my favorite necklace designs.

The book is very old and coverless. It is tied with twine and adorned with a coffee filter flower, ivory trim, a "celebrate" flashcard style tag, and a very patina'd key

The necklace is one of my favorites...it has a vintage
brooch with pearl tone cabachons and a collar of vintage
seam binding and rhinestones. There are also more photos of the necklace in my Etsy store

Enter below, and get a second chance to win by following me on Google Friends Connect
The winner will be announced on
Wednesday January 12th

I will be linking this post to Kathleen's White Wednesday at Faded Charm Cottage

Hi. It's nice to meet you! Welcome to blogland. It is amazing isn't it? I, like you, never knew there were so many talented women. I look forward to following you. I live just outside of Vancouver, WA, so I'm close to your home state of Oregon (I was born in Oregon). Hope you can come visit me. Your giveaway is lovely! I hope it will be coming to my home.
